Open Division

Movement Standards

Each Rep begins with the athletes on the same side of the sandbags, with the sandbags resting on their shoulders. At the bottom, each athlete's hip crease must clearly pass below the top of their knees at the same time.

At the top, each athlete's hips and knees must be fully extended as the sandbags are lifted over the athletes' head and moved to thier opposite shoulders. The arms do not need to reach full extension as the sandbags are moved overhead. Athletes may be in any order, but each section does not weigh the same. From front to back the sections weigh 80 - 60 - 70 - 50.

All sandbag burpees begin with all four athletes on the same side. All athlete's chest and thighs must touch the ground at the same time. 

When jumping over the sandbags a two-foot take off is required. The rep is counted when all four athletes land on the other side. 

Local Division

Movement Standards

Each Rep begins with the athletes on the same side of the sandbags, with the sandbags resting on their shoulders. At the bottom, each athlete's hip crease must clearly pass below the top of their knees at the same time.

At the top, each athlete's hips and knees must be fully extended at the top of the squat. After 15 reps on the first round, Athletes will have to switch shoulders, this may be done by either dropping the sandbags and stepping over to other side or by pressing overhead. Press need not be syncronized. Athletes may be in any order, but each section does not weigh the same. From front to back the sections weigh 80 - 60 - 70 - 50. That's right, not a typo... it is the same weight as the Open Division, you just gotta squat it!
